Born and raised in Munich, he studied at the Faculty of Art and Design at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano from 2007 onwards. Since then, critical and interdisciplinary engagement with social issues has been the starting point for his artistic and cinematic practice. In 2010, he transferred to the Academy of Fine Arts in Leipzig (HGB), where he studied media art. He is a co-founder of the Filmische Initiative Leipzig. He participated in the PMMC 2013 and the PMMC Lab 2015/16. The resulting films LEUNA (13') and HABITAT (79') have been shown at international film festivals and various exhibitions. Since early 2018, he has been participating in the MDM pilot programme with the experimental feature-length documentary LA DUNA, co-authored with Stefanie Schroeder. In April 2020, he completed the 5-channel video installation Ausbeutung oder wie man die Oberfläche durchbricht (Exploitation or How to Break Through the Surface) in collaboration with Clemens von Wedemeyer. He has been living in Leipzig for ten years and works in varying constellations of co-authorship..
