Lars Fischer

Lars Fischer was born in 1963 and grew up in Magdeburg and Eberswalde. Between 1987 and 1994, he studied cultural studies, literary history, and philosophy in Leipzig and Berlin, and has been working as a freelance cultural scientist since the mid-1990s. The topic of landscape came to the fore in 2000 through his involvement with the Kunstring am Nationalpark Müritz (Art Ring at the Müritz National Park). In 2004, he founded the Office for Landscape Communication with Kenneth Anders. His work currently focuses on program management for the Oderbruchmuseum Altranft. He screens short films for the Provinziale film festival in Eberswalde. Together with Kenneth Anders, he is responsible for Aufland Verlag.
