Jonas Matauschek

Jonas Matauschek was born in Dresden and studied photography under Peter Piller at the HGB Leipzig and at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Naples. During his studies, he received a scholarship from the Studienstiftung and was awarded the title of master student in 2018. He was also a lecturer at the Evening Academy at the HGB Leipzig from 2017 to 2019 and participated in Berlinale Talents in 2018 and 2021. He is co-founder of the Leipzig film initiative FILZ and lives and works in Leipzig.
