Wasser und Boden [Water and Soil] is AfA’s annual theme for 2025. Both resources shape the identity of a region. In the Mansfeld region, the soils are red, the solar fields black-blue, and the water flows through the tunnels. There are reports of sinkholes, family heaps gather above the Saugrundbach, artificial ponds were created, and over a hundred years ago a lake disappeared.
