Iris Dressler

Iris Dressler, born 1966 in Neuss, Germany. Studied Art History, Philosophy, and Literature in Marburg and Bochum. Together with Hans D. Christ she co-founded the Hartware MedienKunstVerein (HMKV), Dortmund in 1996 and has been its director till 2004. Furthermore she was curator of media arts at the Museum am Ostwall, Dortmund from 2002 – 2004. In 2003 she initiated the research project and conference 404 Object Not Found. Was bleibt von der Medienkunst?. Since 2005 she is director of the Württembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart together with Hans D. Christ.
