The Werkleitz Festival 2021 New World Dis/Order in Halle (Saale) presents 44 new media art productions from the international scholarship program European Media Art Platform (EMAP) initiated by Werkleitz and supported by Creative Europe. The exhibition for digital culture is accompanied by the conference on digital change with leading international experts as well as accompanying events from the fields of performance and music. etc. The former tax office building in Halle-Neustadt is planned as the central festival location. The European Media Art Platform was founded by werkleitz in 2017 and is one of 15 of the European platforms funded by the Creative Europe Program of the European Union. In 2020  EMAP was proposed as a particularly innovative measure in the 3rd Austrian State Report on the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
