Robert Feustel

Robert Feustel studied political science and history in Leipzig and Madrid and worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Leipzig. In 2012, he received his doctorate there with a thesis entitled ‘Grenzgänge. Kulturen des Rauschs seit der Renaissance’ (Crossing Borders: Cultures of Intoxication since the Renaissance). In 2021, he habilitated in sociology at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena. His most recent publication is ‘Am Anfang war die Information’ (In the Beginning was Information). Digitalisation as Religion, was published by Verbrecher Verlag in 2018.
