In light of climate change, KollektiV Landwende invites participants to a public Future Workshop at the Leopoldina, where shared visions for good coexistence will be developed collaboratively. Formed in 2024, this interdisciplinary group of young adults brings together expertise from agriculture, the social, natural and environmental sciences, and education.
The workshop uses methods from design thinking, including the imagination phase, the critique phase and backcasting. By combining visionary thinking, critical reflection and backward-looking future planning, the participants develop concrete, viable action steps for social transformation.

What can you expect?
In this Future Workshop, we’ll work together to imagine and shape optimistic visions of the future in areas such as mobility, housing and social coexistence. Together, we’ll ask how we want to live within the planet’s ecological limits in the year 2068. The aim is to counter the frequently bleak visions of the coming decades with a constructive, consensus-driven approach.

What do you need to bring?
Openness and curiosity to break away from current social problems and work together to create hopeful future scenarios.

To help us plan the Workshop, please sign up in advance by email info@werkleitz.de, spontaneous participation is also possible.
