He grew up in eastern Saxony. After completing an apprenticeship in the media sector, he went on to study at Burg Giebichenstein, the University of Art and Design Halle. In 2007, he co-founded the film collective ROSENPICTURES with Stephan Helmut Beier. As a BA-qualified designer, he now works as a freelance media producer.
