Olav Amende

Olav Amende, born in Berlin, is a writer, director and performance artist. He studied general and comparative literature (MA) at the University of Leipzig. To date, he has primarily written and directed plays and published texts in various literary magazines. In the summer of 2014, his first short film, Im Dämmer, was shown as part of the first Leipzig Short Film Hike. His poem Phantasie in Eile was published in the Superpreis Anthology of the literary magazine metamorphosen. In the summer of 2021, he premiered his play Zwischen Dingen at the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau. In June 2022, his long poem ‘abwesenheiten’ (absences) was published by the Cologne-based poetry publisher ‘parasitenpresse’.
