1984-1990 Studied applied theatre studies in Giessen, 1992-1994 Editorial traineeship at ZDF. From 1994 to 2000, editor at Das kleine Fernsehspiel: development and supervision of theme nights for the European cultural channel ARTE and innovative television projects for ‘quantum’, the television workshop of Das kleine Fernsehspiel on 3sat. Since May 2000, editor in the newly founded editorial department ‘ARTE Theme Nights’ at ZDF. Since 2002, regular teaching assignments for material development in documentary film at the Offenbach University of Art and Design. Since 2003, curator of the film series ‘reel to real’ at the Künstlerhaus Mousonturm, Frankfurt.
