Constantin Melczer

Constantin Melczer grew up in Amberg (Bavaria). After training as an industrial clerk and subsequently working, he changed direction and moved to Magdeburg to study journalism. During his studies, he discovered documentary filmmaking. This was followed by a six-month internship at Offener Kanal and his own projects, such as the documentary film ‘Godot am Horizont’ about the Schauspielhaus Magdeburg theatre during the first lockdown. Since 2021, he has been working as a freelancer in film and video production and, since 2022, as a freelance camera assistant.
