Holger Reißig

Born and raised in Westerwald. High school diploma > training as a media designer > 2 semesters of media studies and philosophy in Bonn > degree in communication design in Trier, including a 6-month internship as junior art director at Saatchi & Saatchi (Frankfurt). Thesis: ‘In Search of the Golden Chair – a health book, not a fairy tale.’ 2012-14 in Trier at the Balawa Rama office community. Lives and works as a freelance graphic designer and advertiser in Leipzig. Repeatedly works on independent music video projects and as a film graphic designer on feature film productions in Luxembourg and Cologne. Until 2014, drummer with Luftschmitt. 2011-12 Production of a no-budget feature-length documentary film ‘Manganiars’ about a caste of musicians in India. In a team of three with Daniel Kreuter and Florian Luxenburger.
