Antje Seeger

Antje Seeger graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig in 2012. In her work, she explores the ambivalence of social values, public discourse (logos) and actual actions (bios), the role of art and criticism in late bourgeois society, and the function of images in relation to collective agreements and healing processes.
Seeger has received numerous project grants as well as work, research and travel scholarships for her large-scale installations, video installations and video walks. These include grants from the state capital of Dresden, the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony, the Federal Cultural Foundation, and the states of Upper Austria and Lower Austria. Seeger lives and works as an artist and curator in Dresden.
