Alexandra Börner
Alexandra Börner is a fashion designer and visual artist. Essential to her work are the interfaces between fashion, performance and art, with a preference for the digital world. She uses various creative and artistic means of expression to stage fashion and people. She finds it fascinating to look at fashion from other disciplines. Alexandra sees fashion as an interdisciplinary means of expression to be able to express herself in different disciplines. She sees fashion as a language that everyone speaks. She completed her studies in fashion at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle in 2017. Since then she has been working as a visual artist and fashion designer on her own projects and enters into various collaborations with artists* such as Nina McNeely, Rachel Mason, Simone C. Niquille, Anja Kaiser, Katrin Mayer, Stefan Hurtig, Cindy Hammer and goplasticcompany. Since 2020 she teaches fashion as an artistic assistant at the UdK Berlin.
