Panel 3: Planetary Turn

In the artistic-filmic field, a tendency can be observed that places the non-human at the centre of interest. Both the position of observation detaches itself from the imitation of the human gaze and the subject area expands to include landscapes, animals and the cosmological phenomena of space and time. The works create experiential spaces in which an ‘oceanic feeling’ spreads and new references to the world can be opened up.
