Seeing I: The Protagonists von Mark Farid

Mark Farid, scholarship holder of the European Media Art Platform (EMAP) at werkleitz, presents a preview of the Werkleitz Festival 2021. The third protagonist of Seeing I: The Other will be screened on werkleitz.de on March 4, starting at 12:00 a.m. (CET) Farid's work shows the everyday life of Graham who lives in Brixon, South London in ‘sheltered accommodation’ for the last 9 months and is unable to work legally. The recording from the first-person perspective and in a 360 degree view portraits him for a day and allows the viewer to fully immerse himself into the life of the other person. A part of Seeing I: The Protagonists will be presented during the Werkleitz Festival 2021. The project is a research arm of Seeing I (2021) in which Mark Farid will live in virtual reality 24 hours a day, for two weeks, and immerse himself in the life of the other.
