Irina Warner

Irina Warner lives in Marseille as a filmmaker and multimedia artist. She studied visual arts with a focus on video in Barcelona. This was followed by a master's degree in ‘Écritures documentaires : recherche et création’ (screenwriting and directing - documentary film) in Marseille. As a freelancer, she worked with the research group ‘socially participatory documentary film’ (DSP-La Virreina) in Barcelona, participated in joint exhibitions in Spain, Germany and Bolivia, assisted with film workshops and debates as part of the FID film festival in Marseille, and is an active member of the film collective ‘Chantiers du réel’.
