Gesa Marten

Editor and dramaturge since 1991, professor of artistic montage for feature films and documentaries at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and member of the board of the IKF Institute for Artistic Research. Studied theatre, film and television studies, German language and literature, and philosophy in Munich and Cologne. Multiple awards for her montage work, including Was lebst du? (2005), pereSTROIKA - umBAU einer Wohnung (2009), Vom Ordnen der Dinge (2014). Gesa is a founding member of LaDOC FrauenFilmNetzwerk and a member of the German and European Film Academies and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
