This workshop aims to ensure a smooth transition between recording (image & sound), editing, and online formats. The focus is on deepening technical knowledge of the editing systems that participants use on their own computers, whether iMovie, Premiere, or AVID:

• Creating and managing digital filing systems (bins, clips, timeline)

• Synchronizing image and sound

• Effective use of digital editing systems (shortcuts)

• Use of digital effects in image and sound

Furthermore, the course covers the “before,” i.e., the transfer from the recording format to the editing format, and the “after,” i.e., the transfer to common network formats such as mpeg 4 or mov. These interfaces of digital image processing contain countless sources of error that must be recognized and avoided.
