WIR WAREN KUMPEL cinema tour

The documentary WIR WAREN KUMPEL by Christian Johannes Koch and Jonas Matauschek - PMMC alumnus, class of 2015/16 - is starting its cinema tour. In Halle (Saale), the film will be shown from March 1 at the Luchs Kino
There will be previews in Berlin on February 26 at the fsk Kino and on February 27 at the Passage Kinos in Leipzig.

Black dust, shrill metal noises, dark tunnels, heavy workers - that's a thing of the past. At the end of 2018, coal mining in Germany came to an end. In the same year, the voices of the emerging climate protest movement Fridays for Future became louder. Against the backdrop of these media and socio-political events, the film WIR WAREN KUMPEL follows five miners on their tragic and humorous search for a new role in life.
