Viktor Brim ist neuer Supported Artist

We are pleased to announce the selection of Viktor Brim as a new Supported Artist. In his work, the artist and filmmaker deals with cinematic spaces, urban phenomena and the concept of power. He is particularly interested in tracing concrete discourses and ideologies that become tangible in material forms. He combines documentary, research and analytical approaches with the sensual, aesthetic and tangible quality of the moving image as well as installation elements. Viktor Brim has already participated in the 2022 and 2023 Werkleitz Festivals with his works Geontopower and the cavity on the inside. In 2025, he will be part of the large special exhibition Planetary Peasants at the Moritzburg Art Museum in Halle (Saale) with a new production.

The title Supported Artist is awarded to individual outstanding young artists. It includes non-material and individual support in the areas of production, distribution and public relations.
