Media
Oceans 4.0 at FACT in Liverpool presents from October 11th until 27th October 2019 four projects by EMAP / EMARE scholarship holders to monitor, reflect, and introduce the future of our endangered oceans. On display is the work Shells by Marco Barotti, aqua_forensic by Robertina Šebjanič and Gjino Šutić and Anna Dumitriu & Alex Mays ArchaeaBot. No Bodies welcome | All Bodies welcome no bodies welcome | all bodies welcome is a speculative choir piece housed within a ‘void pod’, by Aay Liparoto, FACT’s 2019 EMAP artist-in-residence. In their work, Liparoto acknowledges our interdependence with technology for information, work, sex, entertainment, communication, socialising, banking, healthcare and the crossovers in between. The call for scholarships from the European Media Art Platform (EMAP) / European Media Artists in Residence Exchange (EMARE) 2020 and 2021 are open and will run until December 2nd.
Oceans 4.0 & No Bodies welcome | All Bodies welcome** is part of the European Media Art Platform / European Media Artists in Residence Exchange programme, co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
