Nicolas Gourault premieres Their Eyes at Berlinale Shorts

In Berlin, Their Eyes by Nicolas Gourault is competing as part of the Berlinale Shorts.

The work originates from Unknown Label – a multi-channel video installation developed by the EMAP artist and Werkleitz fellow during a two-month residency.

The short film sheds light on the daily lives of click workers in Venezuela, Kenya, and the Philippines, who annotate and label countless images from U.S. traffic scenes used as training data for self-driving cars.
