The film observes Sven Axel's routine and describes the landscape around his farm, which on the one hand represents an unspoilt idyll for locals and tourists, but on the other hand is used by the Swedish and international military for exercise purposes. At the breaking edge of an Ice Age crack in the ground, the director and the farmer question the boundaries between fact and fiction. Gradually, the landscape designing actors become visible and Sven Axel begins to implement his own cinematic ideas ...
