The radio play Auf der Suche nach den verlorenen Seelenatomen by Werkleitz Supported Artist Susann Maria Hempel is the radio play of the year 2018.
In the play, director Susann Maria Hempel is both speaker, singer and composer. The jury of the Akademie der Darstellenden Künste in Darmstadt praised the great intimacy of the author's conversations with a traumatized former GDR prisoner. It creates an atmosphere in which what we call soul becomes almost tangible. Susann Maria Hempel has so far been known for her experimental films. Congratulations!
