A38 Stipendium for Nay Mendl

The A38 Grant was awarded to May Mendl at the 42nd Kassel Dokfest for the short film Será Inmortal Quien Merezca Serlo (Whoever Deserves It, Will Be Immortal).

The grant is awarded annually as part of the Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival with the aim of supporting emerging artists in film and media and introducing documentary film to a young audience.
At Werkleitz, the recipient is provided with in-kind services worth up to €4,000 for the production of an audiovisual work, including HD production equipment as well as mentoring and guidance.
Werkleitz was once again represented on this year’s jury by Marcie K. Jost.
The grant is awarded by the cooperation partners Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival, Werkleitz, the Media Authority of Saxony-Anhalt, and the Hessian State Authority for Private Broadcasting and New Media.
