Shelly Silver

Shelly Silver is a New York-based artist who works primarily with moving images. Her work, which spans various genres, countries and languages, explores the fundamental acts of seeing and viewing, using the camera as a means of connecting, complicating and transforming. Silver’s work has been exhibited, screened and broadcast worldwide. She is a professor of fine art and director of moving image at Columbia University, NYC.
