Artistic researcher and filmmaker. He studied an MFA at UNAM (2020) and master's degree in narrative practices, CESDER (2017). His work addresses the relationship between place and memory through documentary filmmaking processes, participatory creation, and artistic education. In film he has directed Paradero Norte (2012) -Best Short Documentary Film, 10th Morelia International Film Festival- and NÜ (2015). He’s been in research and artistic residencies at the Werkleitz Multimedia Center, Germany (2014), the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Denmark (2017) and the Department of Artistic Research of the Arts Faculty, UNAM (2020). His work has been screened at the Cannes Critics' Week, Morelia Film Festival, DOCSDF International Documentary Film Festival, Cinema Planeta and Hamburg International Short Film Festival, among others. He is currently a FONCA grant recipient in the film script category (2021) and co-directs with Ginan Seidl his first feature film, Moretones.
