Jägerberg & Silberwald

This guided forest walk invites you to follow the traces of regional history in the Wippertal valley between Sandersleben and Wiederstedt. Passing the Rote Welle and the Felixzeche, the tour leads past the Hitzigen Tal and through the Jägerberg forest. Along the way, local experts will explain the geological and mining features of the area.

The forest, as a place of longing and an indispensable ecosystem, takes centre stage in the early evening programme featuring three short films:

After the event ends at around 18:15, a shuttle bus will run from Wiederstedt to Sandersleben station for those travelling to Halle; places are limited.
