Maren Schuster

Maren Schuster has been responsible for the Master's program in Multimedia and Authorship since July 2013 and has been developing it further together with Patrick Vonderau since 2019.

The Master's program in Multimedia and Authorship follows the principle of digital methods “follow the media” and applies it to the field of digital journalism. The program sees itself as a laboratory. The aim is to use media studies and methods from other disciplines to explore questions of the digitalized present and reflect on them in media practice. In pursuit of this goal, Maren, as a researcher and journalist, develops relevant questions and projects for the modules of the master's program and initiates partnerships with academia, culture, and the media.
