Carsten Möller
Carsten Möller (born 1970) studied media art at the Academy of Visual Arts, Leipzig (HGB) from 1995 to 2000, after which he completed a two-year masterclass under Prof. Alba D'Urbano. In 2002, he became a technical assistant at the HGB Leipzig and was responsible for setting up the video department in the university’s newly established audiovisual laboratory. Since 2008, Möller has been an artistic assistant, heading the video department of the AV laboratory and teaching editing, screenwriting and cinematography there. Since 1992, he has been making his own films, for which he also writes the screenplays. As part of his teaching role at the HGB, he has edited numerous student screenplays over the past few years.
As part of the Werkleitz event series Visiting Artist, Carsten Möller presented his film Der zweite Blick in Halle/Saale on 4 November 2009.
