Works as a freelance journalist and author on socio-political topics, including for the political magazines of MDR and feature programmes on Deutschlandradio. She grew up near Cologne, studied politics, cultural studies and literature in Bremen, Paris and Berlin, and completed an internship at the Electronic Media School in Potsdam from 2017 to 2019, focusing on moving images. Supported by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation and Netzwerk Recherche, among others. The feature collaboration ‘In der Dunkelkammer des Strafrechts’ (DLF 2020) was nominated for the German Social Prize. In 2021, she published the book ‘Femizide: Frauenmorde in Deutschland’ (Femicide: Murders of Women in Germany) with Julia Cruschwitz. She lives in Leipzig.
