Bis in alle Ewigkeit

Excursion to Merseburg. Medieval town. Ravens appear everywhere: as figures, in stories, as symbols of the town. Church bells ring in a nightmarish journey into the supposed past.

A legend is told of a bishop whose ring was stolen and an unforgivable mistake. A moral is asserted that is not one. Its violence is celebrated. The power of a man who has been dead for 500 years is glorified.

Behind the story, someone lives and draws attention to himself. The raven itself is supposed to speak. Its language and behavior are interpreted by humans. They stand in front of each other and remain separate.
