The work There Is So Much to Do and We Have So Little Time critically examines the artist’s time, fragmented by capitalism. Alarm clocks punctuate the day, just as the day is punctuated by jobs, college life, appointments, and other obligations. Normally, in an analog era, all of this would have remained hidden. Digitalization relentlessly exposes everything: every class start, every exam, every doctor’s appointment. Scrolling gives rise to an aesthetic, a shimmer, creating the impression that there is no longer any respite.
