The documentary explores the history, memories, and mementos of an old blacksmith’s shop in Süßen (near Göppingen, Swabian Alb). The film consists of a slow pan through the workshop, interspersed with demonstrations of the work, interviews with the blacksmith, and footage from his warehouse. Nothing that appears in the film still exists today. This documentary film is all that remains.
