Springschool 2022 opens up a dialogue with entrepreneurs who are venturing into new territory in the Mansfeld region. By applying the method of landscape communication, we learn to understand and describe landscape from the perspective of its inhabitants. We use text and photography as our tools. The images and texts created during the discussions and presented publicly in Kurt's Garage in Hettstedt are compiled in the booklet Aufbrüche (New Beginnings). This is available for download as a PDF at the bottom of the page.
Participants in the spring school are students of photography/communication design at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, human geography at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, and the photography workshop at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences: Lea Danninger, Jonas Lüth, Julie Messerschmidt, Dirk Hornschuch, Luisa Keintzel, Louis Rohmer, Nele Schulze, Carina Schweikart, and Joshua Strang. Their research is supervised by Lars Fischer, Büro für Landschaftskommunikation Eberswalde, and accompanied by Jonathan Everts, Human Geography, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, and Stephanie Kiwitt, Photography/Communication Design, Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle.
The Spring School is co-initiated by Werkleitz.
