Between 2019 and 2020, Marion Kreißler and Martin Conrath filmed a documentary exploring the history, memories, and artifacts of an old blacksmith’s shop in Süßen (near Göppingen, Swabian Alb), which no longer exists today. The film is 46 minutes long and consists of a slow pan through the workshop, interspersed with demonstrations of the work, interviews with the blacksmith, and footage of his warehouse. Nothing that can still be seen in the film exists anymore. The film documentary is all that remains.
