Sriwhana Spong

The 25-year-old artist Sriwhana Spong studied at the Elam School of Fine Arts at the University of Auckland from 1998 to 2001, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Spong primarily explores her Balinese roots—from a distance, as someone who did not experience these roots firsthand but discovered them only as an adult. This is the focus of her video and installation works.
