Pier Paolo Pasolini

In his films, the Italian filmmaker, poet and writer Pier Paolo Pasolini (1922–1975) explored the problems facing Italian society, as reflected in the social relationships of his characters. Pasolini focused primarily on fascist structures and authoritarian systems. As a director, he often cast amateurs.
