Max Méndez

Max Méndez works as a freelance photographer and filmmaker in Halle and is a member of the Studio Sandberg studio community.

He works as a cameraman and camera assistant in his own productions as well as in documentaries and feature films. As a photographer, he creates his own artistic projects and commissioned works with a focus on documentation, architecture and products – both digital and analogue.

In 2022, he received a scholarship from the Saxony-Anhalt Art Foundation and the Kloster Bergeschen Foundation, and in 2019, he taught at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle in the Department of Time-Based Arts. Since 2013, exhibitions and film work, including participation in the Landshut Short Film Festival in the ‘DOK’ category.
From 2011 to 2016, he studied at the Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle in the Department of Time-Based Arts, graduating with a diploma.
