Marcelina Wellmer

Marcelina Wellmer is a conceptual artist based in Berlin. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan/Poland with a master degree in video and drawing. As a media artist, she has been working with video, photography, objects and sound, exploring symbiotic relations between people and interfaces of information exchange and media. In photography and video Wellmer explores the powerful influence of humans on the landscape, technological dependence, and their isolation in a modern world.
