Judith Meister

Born in Leipzig, raised in Freiburg, studied theatre, film and media studies in Vienna. Produced her own short films and active in film collectives: board member of kino5 – platform for independent filmmakers in Vienna, co-founder of Kino Datsche e.V. in Leipzig, board member of NISI MASA Paris. Various internships in the film industry, including at Freibeuterfilm Vienna and Infamous Pictures. 2014-2018 freelance filmmaker, primarily in camera work, editing, video mapping for independent theatre projects and as a mentor for film workshops. Development of first feature-length documentary ‘Leben um zu Sterben’ (AT), 2017 at TP2 Talentpool. Since 2018 video technician at Schauspiel Leipzig.
