Eva Sangiorgi

Eva Sangiorgi graduated from the University in Bologna, Italy. Since 2003 she lives in Mexico City where she has been working in film and video productions with contemporary artists and as film programmer for institutions and events, e.g. FICCO in Mexico City, Cinema Planeta, Museo del Eco among others. Now she is directing and programming the International Film Festival of UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México), FICUNAM, that she founded two years ago, focussed on art house films and connections with contemporary art. As an editorial project connected with the festival she published the first Masao Adachi monograph and Artavazd Pelechian’s editing theory.
