Wanted: Artworks on the Theme of Time

Over the next four years (2026–2029), Werkleitz will devote itself to the complexity of time.
We aim to explore attempts at slowing down, generational conflicts, prehistoric and primeval times, as well as future futures—artistically, discursively, through excursions, and through creative participatory formats.

For the 2026 Werkleitz Festival Früher oder Später [Sooner or Later], we are launching a statewide call to artists, art associations, off-spaces, amateurs, and professionals in search of up to one hundred artworks on the theme of time. This collection will be presented as a major exhibition during the festival.

Wanted: Artworks on the Theme of Time
An expense allowance of 100 euros is provided for exhibiting images, textiles, poetry, films, and artistic objects. Upon request, works may be offered for sale within the exhibition.
