Tongestaltung und Mischungsvorbereitung

Using examples from his own professional experience in feature film production, the lecturer will demonstrate the complexity of sound design in this workshop. The session will not only examine the individual stages of the process in a practical context, but will also discuss the interplay between sound design and film music. Participants will gain insights into the work of the sound designer, fx artist and sound mixer in the respective editing suites and studios. In preparation for work on their own projects, participants will be given guidance on analysing and creating the sound design with a view to the final production of the project in the mixing studio.
