Because documentary work with moving images is a highly complex construct in time and space, we would like to pay special attention to cinematic composition and dramaturgy.

Prof. Hans Beller will guide us through the basic rules of dramaturgy and nonlinear storytelling on the first two days, while Prof. Alexandra Schneider will discuss the possibilities of interactive storytelling on the third day:

What needs to be considered with cross-media and i-docs? How does the viewer become a participating co-creator, and what needs to be considered and enabled for this to happen? How can conventional linear processes (of text or film creation) be conceived and developed in a nonlinear, rhizomatic way in the future?
