The internet does not require high-resolution, glossy footage, but it does require precision and creativity in the use of images—whether they were taken with a professional video camera or a cell phone. The workshop covers both the technical basics and questions of image design.

In addition, the workshop explains the many different file formats and sizes that are relevant for working on the web, as well as the possibilities of digital post-processing of images on the computer (color grading).

Birgit Gudjonsdottir will introduce general image design, while Jana Keuchel will focus specifically on working for webdocs based on her experience with the web series “Kinshasa Collection.”
