HaNeon

On October 2 and 3, 2026, the Neustädter Passage in Halle-Neustadt becomes a stage for international light art for the first time: HaNeon, a new free Art & Light Festival, makes its debut. Artists from more than ten countries present large-scale projections, media art, and interactive installations. The iconic high-rise buildings along the Neustädter Passage provide a unique architectural canvas for projections. Digital artworks unfold along the entire length of the Neustädter Passage. With live music, performances, discussions, food, drinks, and plenty of opportunities to get involved, the Neustädter Passage transforms over two evenings into an extraordinary space for light, art, and connection.

The diverse program turns the Neustädter Passage into a stage, a screen, a dance floor, and a place to discover, be amazed, play, and get creative—for people of all generations.

Werkleitz is participating with the Agentur für Aufbruch. Die Schweiferei presents the results of its artistic research on the theme of time and generations and invites visitors to join its Schweif walks through Neustadt. A film program curated by Luc-Carolin Ziemann takes place on October 3.
