Grand Jeté [Big Throw]

Grand Jeté is dance and film theater on the Schiffbauergasse open-air stage in Potsdam. The interplay of film sequences with a live performance on trampolines creates a “vertical dance theater” on the theme of jumps, landings and the migration of experience. The film part shows former professional dancers who have started all over again. The live action punctuates the film. The film sequences switch between the ups and downs of the jumps and “extend” the moment of suspension.
